Patented Chemical Formulations
Several years of research developing paint stripping chemical formulations. This involved creating a new, effective, and innovative organic chemical formulation to quickly remove unwanted coatings from automotive and industrial parts. This truly unique chemistry is able to remove extremely tough automotive finishes, leaving the parts ready to be recoated. Unlike older chemical strippers, this material does not attack the substrate and it is also environmentally safe and long lasting. The product is currently being used at multiple locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Taiwan. I hold two US patents on this stripping formulation and process.

Developed & Patented an Effective Paint Stripper
I developed and have two patents on an environmentally safe and effective paint stripper called Recover 5000. This organic based chemistry can remove the strongest automotive or industrial paint or coating with no harm to the underlying metal surface. It is quick and efficient and works on a variety of metals and even plastic materials. This product has been commercially and successfully used since 2003 at multiple locations in the United States and internationally. It continues to be a very safe and economical way to remove unwanted paint from various parts and surfaces.

Automotive Coatings Work
Many years of work experience with the BASF Corporation working on automotive coatings research. This involved paint formulation and testing with water based, solvent based, and powder based coatings. Worked on several key projects, including the first water based basecoat systems, etch resistant clearcoats, and powder primer work. Also responsible for work on developing powder coating systems for the John Deere company. Extensive travel to customer facilities to provide on site technical support as well as running various field survey programs. Very familiar with all forms of coatings testing, analysis, experimental design, application work, and in plant customer service.
