I have had experience in color matching in various paint formulations (including powder). This includes both X-Rite computer aided color matching as well as matching by eye to adjust production batches of paint. I enjoy working with new formulations as well as optimizing existing paint systems for color and other properties. Some of this work has also involved replacing certain pigments for better cost and other issues sometimes related to supply.

Several years of research developing paint stripping chemical formulations. This involved creating a new, effective, and innovative organic chemical formulation to quickly remove unwanted coatings from automotive and industrial parts. This truly unique chemistry is able to remove extremely tough automotive finishes, leaving the parts ready to be recoated. Unlike older chemical strippers, this material does not attack the substrate and it is also environmentally safe and long lasting. The product is currently being used at multiple locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Taiwan. I hold two US patents on this stripping formulation and process.
